Some say that to embrace one's greatest talent is to make the world a better place. Others see a grown man spinning a seventeen-foot hula hoop and snicker about trivial obsessions. "Breaking and Entering" documents three of these would-be Guinness World Record holders as they battle the odds in pursuit of global dominance.

Sprinkled throughout the film are dozens of record holders, from phone-book rippers and human cannonballs to fast talkers and finger-snappers, giving their unique insight on record-breaking, what it takes to do it, and more importantly why. Since when is it trivial to pursue your dreams?
